Cut Aluminium with KMT Waterjet
Waterjet Machines are the most versatile tool for cutting aluminium.
There are many methods to cut aluminium, including laser, plasma, hacksaws and even shears for cutting very thin aluminum sheets. However, the most versatile machining tool to cut aluminium is with waterjet technology.
Water jet can cut up to 40 cm of aluminium, even with five axis cutting. Thin aluminium sheets, including 6061 alloy aluminium, can be stacked for cutting with waterjet systems.
Cutting aluminium with KMT Waterjet, there is no secondary finishing. Waterjet will not melt aluminium or leave a burr finish. And waterjet tables can cut aluminium using very intricate designs and patterns, all with a smooth finish.
