With the PRO high-pressure range, KMT Waterjet Systems sets new standards in the field of waterjet cutting. PRO stands for waterjet cutting technology with operating pressures of up to 6,200 bar. Of course, the new range of products includes all necessary components and accessories - from high-pressure generation units to orifices that guide the cutting jet with great precision to the material. The maximum pressure of 6,200 bar represents an increase of nearly 50% compared to pressures used in conventional equipment!

It thus provides flexibility for any waterjet cutting application.
With the further development of the high pressure pump series STREAMLINE PRO - the model PRO-2 - KMT Waterjet makes waterjet cutting at 6,200 bar even more efficient: The newly developed Rapid Change Intensifier considerably simplifies maintenance and repair of the pump.

The latest generation of STREAMLINE PRO high pressure pumps sets new standards in waterjet cutting technology. And thanks to the revised Rapid Change intensifier concept, the latest level of development - the STREAMLINE PRO-2 - offers extremely powerful waterjet cutting combined with quick and easy maintenance.
Higher productivity
The advantages of the higher operating pressure of 6,200 bar are particularly relevant for efficiency where operators need to cut thick materials.
- Depending on the material and thickness, the cutting speed can be increased by up to 50%, in some cases even more.
- The high operating pressure improves the quality of the cut edges. In many cases, there is no need for reworking.
- Cutting with 6,200 bar significantly reduces the consumption of abrasive and thus the production costs per unit.
Customer-oriented design
When developing the PRO series, easy and quick maintenance was one of the key priorities of the KMT Waterjet team. The modular design of all components of the PRO range allows for the quick replacement of individual wear parts whenever the need arises. The machine design guarantees that each single part works properly to the very end of its service life.
Rapid Change Intensifier
The unique design of the newly developed Rapid Change intensifier combined with very durable components reduces the maintenance effort for the high pressure pump. For example, seals may be replaced in no more than 20 minutes. This leads to longer uptimes and thus a higher efficiency of the complete pump. Maintenance is further simplified by the low number of single components and a reduced need for special tools.
Available in two performance classes
The STREAMLINE PRO is available in two models with 45 kW and 93 kW. At a pressure of 6,200 bar, the machines offer volumetric flows of 2.8 l/min and 5.4 l/min respectively. This enables operator to cut with single or multiple heads.
Improved production safety thanks to redundancy
Smooth production runs without downtimes are particularly important for multiple shift operation. If servicing becomes necessary, the operator can now simply disconnect the respective intensifier and connect the second intensifier in the parallel circuit. This option guarantees production safety at all times.
ACTIVE AUTOLINE PRO
Abrasive cutting head for high pressures
The new ACTIVE AUTOLINE PRO abrasive cutting head by KMT Waterjet Systems has been specially designed for waterjet cutting with 6,200 bar. Its design and materials can withstand huge forces while focussing the energy to the point where it is needed, namely to the cutting jet.
Among the outstanding features of ACTIVE AUTOLINE PRO cutting heads are automatic precision positioning, perfect repetition accuracy, high cutting speeds, long service life and easy maintenance. The few wear parts of the device can be easily exchanged without the need for tools. The orifice and mixing chamber form a unit and can be replaced within a few seconds. The same applies to the focussing tube. In order to keep routine maintenance to a minimum, these parts are made from tough wear-proof materials. The typical features of KMT Waterjet products - innovative approach to efficiency and economy in continuous operation - have thus been successfully integrated into the design of the company's latest development. ACTIVE AUTOLINE PRO cutting heads can also be integrated into any waterjet cutting system, including units with rigid or multiple head connections.
ACTIVE IDE PRO
Compact abrasive cutting head for 6,200 bar applications
Specially designed for waterjet cutting with up to 6,200 bar. As the cutting head contains only a small number of individual components, it is particularly easy to handle and produces high-precision cuts. The key features of the ACTIVE IDE PRO are the precisely aligned cutting jet and the pre-filter protecting the orifice. The unit is virtually maintenance-free. To achieve a perfect cutting jet, all you need to do is exchange the focussing tube.

KMT Waterjet provides reliable installation parts for the efficient installation of high pressure pipeline systems for waterjet cutting. Catering for rated pressures of up to 6,900 bar, our product range covers all applications in the field of waterjet cutting.
Safety is of course a key aspect for the development of KMT installation material, as all parts must be able to withstand the high pressure in the supply system. Durability, high availability and reliability are the main factors here and have therefore been laid down as mandatory criteria for the product range. Our installation parts were developed in response to demands from our customers. Their design is based on the experience of KMT Waterjet in ultra high pressure applications acquired over many years.
With the introduction of the STREAMLINE PRO pump series, which is able to generate pressures of up to 6,200 bar, the industry has begun to distinguish between two separate standards for 4,150 bar and 6,200 bar applications.
