BOOSTERLINE I - constant water supply pressure lowers operating costs
Existing waterjet cutting units can be retrofitted with the BOOSTERLINE I. It ensures a constant preset water supply pressure at the high pressure pump inlets, thus prolonging the service life of all wear parts in the intensifier. The service requirements of the pressure intensifiers can be therefore reduced. High pressure components are easily damaged by cavitation, caused by pressure fluctuations in low-pressure public water supply systems. BOOSTERLINE I effectively prevents such damage, associated downtimes and costs, as it ensures that the machine can be operated constantly under optimised conditions. STREAMLINE™ high pressure pumps work best when supplied with a constant inlet pressure of 3.5 bar.
